THE MOTIVATION

There are a few ministries that I have wanted to be able to give abundantly and frequently to. Growing up being taught about rental properties, good deals and cash-flow, the best way I could think to create sustainable giving was to find a way to purchase a handful of my own rentals and give all of the cash-flow to the ministries I want to support. My obstacle in doing so is that it would take a long time for me to come up with the money needed for a down-payment on one house, let alone five or ten. Thankfully I have a dad that says, "There are no problems, only solutions" and soon found a solution to my not being able to cover the down payments: find investors to loan me the money for down-payments with the promise that after three years their loan could be paid back in full. As an added bonus the donations would be made in the name of the investor (for as long as they keep their money in the property rather than being paid back) and therefore they will get the benefit of a tax receipt.

THE NAME

"WellSpring Ministries" comes from the idea of sustainable giving, resources that don't run dry, and supplying thirsty souls with the Water of Life. 

"But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; 

but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water 

springing up into everlasting life."
